The G7 in Brindisi, scheduled from 13 to 15 June, is drawing the attention of the whole world to the Apulian city which will host the leaders of the most influential nations on the planet.
In anticipation of this important event, a cutting-edge operations room was set up: the joint-forces Control Room. The police, military and port authorities operate within it.
“It is an operations room that from a technological point of view expresses the best that systems of this kind can put in place at the moment. - explains Eugenio Cantanna, commissioner of the state police - The further peculiarity is that it allows us to communicate independently of the police force to which we belong, or the armed force, on a single channel".
Thanks to the effective organization of the operations room and the presence of cutting-edge technologies, it will be possible to successfully manage the complex dynamics linked to the organization of an international summit of such great importance.
Designed and Built | Joint-forces Control Center
Bosco proudly contributed to the realization of the joint-forces control room for the G7 by providing 27 stand alone consoles and a 9-operators angular console to accommodate a total of 36 operators. Each station is equipped with two monitors per operator adjustable in height and depth.
Inside a control room like the joint-forces room of Brindisi, there is a lot of differentiated staff who often work in crisis situations that require taking mission-critical decisions in real time.
The 2500XL series consoles, chosen by Webgenesys for setting up the operations room, guarantee the ergonomics facilitating monitoring, communication and emergency management activities. Furthermore, our consoles are smart desks that allow to host and organize the many electronic equipment present in a control center like the one in Brindisi, which receives large data flows in real time.
