The Rome Mobility Control Center is a strategic operational room that coordinates traffic monitoring and management in the Italian capital. It provides as well informations to citizens and tourists through direct and indirect channels, ensuring continuous surveillance and information from 6.30am to 10pm every day of the year.
The Control Room has two levels: a centralized supervisor and a system that operates with logical intelligence distributed through peripheral devices.
ITS (Intelligent Transport System) systems provide support to create more efficient and sustainable mobility of vehicles and people through a network of cameras, variable message signs, electronic gates, 1500 centralized traffic light systems, measurement stations and sensors.
Thanks to its presence in the area and its ability to interact in real time with other institutions and service providers, the Rome Mobility Control Room has become a fundamental point of reference for ensuring efficient and safe circulation in the city. Furthermore, it plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable mobility, encouraging the use of public transport and sharing mobility services.
The first thing that strikes you as soon as you enter the Rome Mobility Center are the elegant and robust consoles of the Tekno series: 6 motorized stations, among the most technologically advanced and at the same time aesthetically impactful consoles.
Mobility of Rome chooses not only ergonomics and efficiency, but a representative control room with an entirely made in Italy design and built.
The Bosco workstations, each equipped with 2 monitors per operator, overlook the large Videowall with the 1000 StandUp structure, self-supporting and with no need of fixing. Again, a more articulated and elegant choice, for an entirely Italian command room.
