The Rome Police Headquarters recently inaugurated a new control center, an important investment in the safety and efficiency of police services in the Italian capital. This innovative structure represents a significant advancement in monitoring and communication technologies, intended to improve emergency response and ensure greater safety for citizens.
The new control room is equipped with modern technologies for emergency management. Advanced video surveillance systems allow real-time monitoring of the streets and main points of interest in the city. Thanks to the integration of data analysis softwares, operators can identify critical situations and coordinate mission-critical operations in the most effective way.
Furthermore, the room is designed to facilitate communication between different law enforcement agencies and emergency services. This integrated approach is essential to guarantee a rapid and coordinated response in the event of extraordinary events, such as demonstrations, accidents or crisis situations.
Inside the control room, two impressive 2500XL Control Consoles for 8 and 6 operators each occupy a central position, for a total of 14 technical desks. The curved shape of the consoles adapts to the unconventional design of the ceiling, giving the room a dynamic and contemporary look.
The control stations have a double top which allows to position any instruments on the lower top, keeping the work surface free and aesthetically more beautiful. Equipped with Canal Racks under the work surface, Bosco control room desks allow to accommodate cables and electronic equipment while respecting ergonomics.
Major Events Room for the Rome Police Headquarters: Design and Built
In parallel with the operative control center, we have set up the Major Events Room maintaining the same aesthetic and functional line. In a central position, a large curved 2500XL Control Console for 6 operators adapts to and enhances the dynamic design of the large video wall. Two linear 2500XL Control Consoles for 4 operators each are positioned at the right and left of the central control station.
All control desks have a double top and a Canal Rack under the work surface, allowing to house cables and equipment for a "cleaner", more efficient and ergonomic room.
